Heather Abner is a poet/educator married to an obsessive fisherman/photographer. They share a home with two Miniature Schnauzers in Brighton, Michigan.

Matt Bell is the author of Cataclysm Babya novella, and How They Were Found, a collection of fiction. His fiction has appeared in Conjunctions, Hayden’s Ferry Review, Gulf Coast, Willow Springs, and Unsaid. He works as an editor at Dzanc Books, where he also runs the literary magazine The Collagist, and previously taught writing at the University of Michigan. In Fall 2012, he will join the faculty in the Creative Writing program at Northern Michigan University. He lives in Ann Arbor, Michigan, with his wife Jessica.

Russell Brakefield‘s most recent work appears of is forthcoming in The Indiana ReviewNew Orleans ReviewDrunken Boat, the Michigan Quarterly Review, and Poet Lore.

francine j. harris is a Detroit native whose recent work has appeared in Rattle, Callaloo, and Michigan Quarterly Review and she is the author of the poetry collection allegiance (Wayne State University Press, 2012). She is a Cave Canem fellow and is currently a Zell Post-MFA Fellowship recipient at the University of Michigan.

Sean Kilpatrick’s work has appeared in Boston Review, Fence, Evergreen Review, New York Tyrant, Columbia Poetry Review, No Colony, among other journals. He is the author of fuckscapes (Blue Square Press, 2011) and Anatomy Courses (Lazy Fascist Press, 2012), a collaborative novel with Blake Butler.

Tom McCartan is a writer living in Ypsilanti, Michigan.

Robert James Russell is the author of Sea of Trees (Winter Goose Publishing, 2012). His fiction and poetry has appeared in The CollagistJoyland, Thunderclap! Magazine, Red River ReviewLITSNACK, among others. He is the co-founding editor of the literary journal Midwestern Gothic, which aims to catalog the very best fiction of the Midwestern United States (an area he believes is ripe with its own mythologies and tall tales, yet often overlooked). Robert lives in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Jeremy Schmall is a founding editor of Agriculture Readerand the author of Jeremy Schmall & the Cult of Comfort (x-ing books).

Jennifer Trudeau holds a BA from U-Michigan (Ann Arbor) and a Master’s from USC (Los Angeles). She is the author of Left-handed Morpheus (true stories and essays) and Haunted Mad Girl (poetry), and is currently finishing The Bible of Hell, her first novel. Her writing has won two Hopwood awards and has appeared in a number of publications; most recently, one of her pieces was featured in Storyglossia.
