What others are saying:
“The stories and poems contained in this issue of the Heavy Feather Review are many things – experimental, dark, humourous, heart-breaking – but they are not light. This is a magazine to be read slowly, one or two pieces at a time, since each piece holds so much to be savoured and absorbed.” —The Review Review
“Yes, you gotta buy this issue, man, support this new venture, already two issues spilling out so much goodness, not to mention these folks’ great reading series, all coming out at you Heavy Feather Review style, which is to say Bold and Big and Varied, okay.” —Vouched Books
“All in all, Heavy Feather Review are doing seriously well for their first volume, better than most. Already. So you should read the first issue and perhaps submit to their next issue.” —Banango Lit
“…something to sum up my experience reading Heavy Feather Review…if you take your time, carefully pick through it, you’ll find some neat stuff.” —HTML Giant
